The Faith of a Nameless Servant

In Judges 6 Gideon literally threw down a fleece to determine what God wanted him to do.  Have you ever had a similar experience in your life, where you called on God to give you a sign?  In Genesis 24 Abraham’s servant was sent out on a seemingly impossible mission.  What if he could not find a willing wife for Isaac?  What if he found the wrong woman?  He issued a challenge to God in Genesis 24:14 intending to remove all doubt.  “If all these events come to pass just as I have asked, then surely God has intervened on my behalf,” he thought.  Imagine how his faith grew when God answered his prayer exactly as he had asked.
